The river Weser is one of the most important German rivers. Starting point of this tour is the idyllic half timbered town Hann. Münden – the place where rivers Werra and Fulda are forming the Weser. Already here in the small town you encounter the impressive Weser Renaissance with carefully reconstructed half timbered houses. From here you follow the meandering river through the "Weserbergland" (Weser mountains), having many hidden treasures. You travel trough medieval half timbered towns as Höxter, Rinteln or Hameln.
