So the obvious choice is to take advantage of this convenient and interesting approach. You will discover the most bicycle-friendly country of Europe on various routes. You live on a typical Netherlands riverboat. No looking for a hotel, no packing and unpacking of suitcases and during the day free cycling along without luggage.

Tour course
Day 1: Amsterdam – Vianen approx. 15 km
1 p.m.: Arrival and check-in. 2 p.m.: Departure, the ship brings you to Nigtevecht. Afterwards you start with your first bike tour along river Vecht and towards Breukelen. Visit an origin Dutch cheese dairy. The ship brings you to Vianen, a small town at river Lek. 6.30 p. m: dinner.
Day 2: Vianen – Dordrecht approx. 50 km
After your breakfast you cycle to the city of Schoonhoven and Kinderdijk. A lot of wind mills are awaiting you there. You can visit one of these mills. Afterwards you go by ship to Dordrecht, on of the oldest cities of the Netherlands.
Day 3: Dordrecht – Tholen approx. 35-50 km
During your breakfast you go by ship to Willemstad, an old city with fortress. From there you start your bike tour to Tholen. This city was an island in former times; today it is connected with the mainland. Enjoy your time in this picturesque village!
Day 4: Tholen – Antwerp approx. 35 km
Today you cycle through the Wouwse plantation towards south. The ship is awaiting you, you continue through the impressive harbour of Antwerp towards city centre. Antwerp is well-known for its diamonds and as birth place of painter Rubens.
Day 5: Antwerp – Dendermonde approx. 30-55 km
You leave the harbour and cycle towards Dendermonde. A beautiful bike path leads you along the river. You can go on board in Temse or Dendermonde, the end of your today’s stage. In the evening there is the possibility to join a beer tasting.
Day 6: Dendermonde – Gent approx. 35 km
You continue to Gent, a university city with a great past. Discover the city on your own.
Day 7: Gent – Bruges approx. 45 km
Out of town you start your bike tour through flat terrain towards Bruges. This city is also named “Venice of the North”.
Day 8: After breakfast disembarkation until 9.30 a.m.
Depending on the arrival day the journey goes the other way around from Bruges to Amsterdam.
