Southern route with MS Jelmar.
We are pleased to present you with MS Jelmar a boat which was renovated in 2006/2007. Due to that we are able to guarantee a certain comfort and quality on the classic routes in northern and southern Holland. MS Jelmar offers 10 beautiful cabins with two beds at ground level and own bathroom with shower/toilet. Come on board and enjoy! You will feel the “additional quality” immediately. In groups with a maximum of 20 persons we offer Holland tours in the original sense: on a small river boat in familiar and comfortable atmosphere. The skipper and his wife are taking good care of you. A holiday on MS Jelmar is a bike- and boat tour in the Netherlands to feel good and to enjoy!
Tour course
Day 1: Individual arrival and embarkation in Amsterdam
Check-in between 2 and 5 p.m.
Day 2: Amsterdam – Haarlem approx. 30 km
After a short journey by ship you visit the open-air museum Zaanse Schans. Afterwards you continue by bike to Haarlem.
Day 3: Haarlem – Leiden approx. 45 km
You continue via Noordvijk and Katwijk aan Zee to the University City Leiden.
Day 4: Leiden – Delft approx. 30 km
From Leiden you go to Delft. You can go by train (not included) or by bike to the residence in Den Haag or to the well-known bathing resort Scheveningen.
Day 5: Delft – Rotterdam – Gouda approx. 35 km
By ship you visit the harbour of Rotterdam. From Kinderdijk with its 19 wind mills you continue to Gouda.
Day 6: Gouda – Uithoorn approx. 55 km
You cycle through beautiful landscape to Uithoorn.
Day 7: Uithoorn – Amsterdam approx. 10 – 35 km
In the morning you can visit a flower auction in Aalsmeer (not included). Afterwards you continue by bike or ship back to Amsterdam.
Day 8: After breakfast disembarkation
