Day 1: Individual journey to Montecatini Terme
Montecatini Terme is one of the most important health resorts of Italy. The healing properties of the water were known to antique Romans and persons as Giacomo Puccini and Giuseppe Verdi took their water there. Apart from a visit of splendid “Terme Tettuccio” you can take the cable car up to historic town centre of Montecatini Alto. Enjoy a marvellous view of the entire valley “Val’di Nievole” and the summits of Apennin. Sip a glass of wine on medieval “Piazza Giusti” and look forward to the coming days.

Day 2: Excursion to the valley of Val di Nievole approx. 40 km
You start your first tour on beautiful paths who lead you through olive groves into the charming village of Serravalle. Enjoy the beautiful view into the valley after you have managed some short climbs. Afterwards you cycle downhill back to Montecatini Terme where you will pass the historic village of Montecatini Alto on your way.

Day 3: Excursion to the Monti Pisani and to the Sea approx. 50 km
Our transfer will bring you to the top of mountain Monte Pisano (900 m above sea level). You have will have an impressing panorama to Pisa and the Sea while you are starting your tour with a long descent to the valley. Afterwards you cycle along a Latin viaduct to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and through the nature park “Macchia Lucchese” until you reach Viareggio. By train you go back to Montecatini Terme.

Day 4: Excursion to Florence by train
The capital of the Tuscany awaits you with its palaces, churches, museums and art treasures of the Renaissance. Of course you can relax in the hotel spa on this day too…

Day 5: Excursion to San Gimignano approx. 55 km
Our transfer brings you to Casciana Terme. Your tour leads you through wine yards and on beautiful paths to San Gimignano. Enjoy the typical landscape of the Tuscany. Before
you reach your destination you can see the silhouette of the world famous medieval towers. By transfer you go back to your hotel.

Day 6: Excursion to Vinci approx. approx. 55 km
Set out from Montecatini Terme and cross natural reserve “Padule di Fucecchio”. You cycle on small roads through olive groves and past vineyards to Vinci, birth place of Leonardo. The little town nestles on the slopes of wine-growing area “Montalbano” in the very heart of Tuscany. Visit “Museo Leopardiano” with the most estensive and original collection of machines and models of the genius.

Day 7: Excursion to Lucca approx. 40 km
The first town to pass today is little medieval wine-grower town Montecarlo. A ringing name for connoisseurs deriving from Emperor Carl IV who stayed here sometimes. The excellent wine of Montecarlo was appreciated at royal courts in Europe. Along the wine street “Colline Luccesi e Montecarlo” past Villa Torrigiani to Lucca. By train back to your hotel.
