Introducing the Eurobike bike station in Bolzano

We are here for you!

The southern balcony of the Alps: where vineyards and apple trees adorn the hills, the blue Adige river blends perfectly into the landscape, and not only Romeo and Juliet turned heads. This is the workplace and over the summer months also the residence of Johannes Cisky and his mother Andrea. The two have run the bike station in Bolzano for many years and are your local contact for our cycle tours in South Tyrol. Today we would like to introduce you to the station!

At a glance…

The station in Bolzano is our centre for northern Italy…from here all cycle tours between Innsbruck and Venice are organised. Johannes and Andrea run the headquarters in Bolzano, but there are also regional supervisors. For example, in Reschen, on Lake Garda and in Venice, so in all corners of the region a contact person is available with help and advice. Incidentally, our branch office in Bolzano is one of the largest Eurobike stations – seven busses (and of course bike trailers) are in operation and ensure that luggage, bicycles and occasionally exhausted guests get to the right place.

…behind the scenes…

‘The bike station in the heart of South Tyrol is almost as old as me” smiles Johannes. And indeed, the station has been around for 25 years. At the beginning, when the tours in South Tyrol were in their infancy, bikes and cycling equipment were based in one of our partner hotels. The bike station Bolzano, as we know it today, has been around for three years now – a home to seven employees, 1000 bikes and lots of equipment. By the way: a large meeting room has been set up to hold tour information meetings.

…Our days…

And what do you do when you are not travelling with luggage or guests? “Our everyday life is varied,” says Johannes. “First and foremost, of course, we take care of our customers on site, we always have an open ear, and of course a few insider tips, we are very familiar with the location. The luggage of our guests has to be transported daily from A to B and the travel documents prepared. We are particularly happy to hold tour information meetings daily, where we get to know our guests in person, customise their bikes and man the service phone line for guests who are on tour. Of course, unforeseen things can happy and I am always happy when I can help make the holiday of our cycling guests more beautiful.”

We are happy to provide you with more information about our cycle tours in South Tyrol. I would be happy to meet you in person on a cycle tour soon!

Yours, Johannes
