COVID-19: Questions & Answers about our tours

Every day we receive many, many questions from our guests about the current status of their booked active holiday. There is so much uncertainty around the situation. So you can get a bit of clarity about your booking, we would like to answer the most important questions on this page as simply and clearly as possible. Depending on the arrival date of your trip, different regulations apply:

  • All of our active tours to all destinations with an arrival until and including 17.04.2020 are cancelled and have to be rebooked or unfortunately cancelled – of course free of charge.
  • All of our Original Tours to all destinations with an arrival until and including 30.04.2020 are cancelled and have to be rebooked or unfortunately cancelled – of course free of charge.
  • All bookings starting after the above dates are currently taking place as planned – the active holiday can be rebooked free of charge up to three weeks before arrival. We also offer the possibility to rebook your trip to a travel date in 2021. Free cancellation of these tours is not currently possible. If it is not possible to run these trips due to travel warnings, these trips will also be cancelled free of charge and guests will be informed.

If you are not sure whether you have booked a Eurofun Original tour, please check your pre-contractual information or your booking confirmation. You will also find the information on the respective trip in the catalogue or on our website.

Yes, it’s possible to rebook free of charge up to 3 weeks before arrival – and this is for all tours in all destinations! You can even rebook your trip to a date in 2021. Just contact us and we will be happy to take care of your booking changes immediately.

Any deposits already paid will be transferred to the rebooking. We immediately assign them to the new booking and the amount remains available for the new booking.

Cancellation is free of charge for all active tours to all destinations with an arrival until and including 17.04.2020, and for all of our Original Tours until and including 30.04.2020.

A free cancellation is currently not possible on all bookings that start after the specified dates. Our travel conditions apply here.

Since we are currently all working via home office to counter the spread of COVID-19, your refund may be delayed. However, we strive to deal with it as quickly as possible. We ask for your understanding.

We recommend that you read your contract with the respective travel insurance company before cancelling and check what is included. Withdrawal is often only possible if the traveller is ill. If in doubt, contact your travel insurance provider.

From the current perspective, all tours with an arrival after 17.04.2020 or with Original Tours after 30.04.2020 will take place. We also offer the option to rebook for free up to three weeks before the date of arrival!

We therefore recommend that for later arrivals you wait and contact us at a later date if necessary. 

 

In order to counter the spread of COVID-19, our customer advisors are currently working from home and can be reached Monday to Friday from 9am until 3pm, until 13.04.2020 and will be happy to answer your questions.

For the time being we cannot accept any new bookings with an arrival date by the end of May. We are sure that we will be able to start the active holiday season in summer 2020 and are looking forward to welcoming you on our tours in June. We look forward to seeing you!

We actively inform all guests who have booked a trip with us for 2020 with and changes to their travel plans.
