Voices of long-standing Eurobike regular customers

Holiday experiences from 30 years of Eurobike

In 2022 we are celebrating 30 years of Eurobike. For three decades we have been offering you with our cycle holiday brand Eurobike cycling fun all over Europe. 30 years of Eurobike – they are also 30 years of stories told by Eurobike guests, which we had the pleasure to welcome on our cycle holidays. Your all-round perfect cycle holiday is our incentive. We are proud that so many long-standing clients are part of our Eurobike success story.

To celebrate our anniversary we would like to find out more about your passion for cycle holidays. That is why we present our regular customers to speak for themselves, since only they can best voice their enthusiasm. We are humbled and really appreciate that you share your most stunning Eurobike cycle moments with us all.

How often have I been on holiday with Eurobike and where did I go?
The following were my most impressive Eurobike cycle holidays:

What are my most beautiful cycle moments with Eurobike?
I will try and roughly remember my cycle holidays. Each tour at the time was one of the most beautiful cycling moments – even though inbetween there were rain showers which already brings me to the next point. It is just wonderful when after a rainy day one arrives at the accommodation and the luggage is there already all dry and ready.

What do I appreciate on a holiday with Eurobike?
The A*-support by the staff members in the headquarters in Obertrum as well as each staff member on site. Many thanks to the entire Eurobike team!

Which Eurobike cycle holidays would I still like to embark on?
In 2020 I had planned the Madeira Circular Tour as well as the group tour Prague – Dresden, which unfortunately both did not take place due to Corona. Those holidays however I urgently want to embark on soon.

How often have we been on holiday with Eurobike and where did we go?
First of all congratulations on your company anniversary, 30 years are not a coincidence! For years cycle holidays have been vacations to us, which we like embarking on again and again and meet our holiday ideas. Especially attractive to us are the Bike & Boat offers and the destinations which are easily reachable by car.

Now we have booked our 16th holiday (unless we missed one out). We did the following:

So far with Bike & Boat we have done:

  • 2x Kvarner Bay
  • North Dalmatia
  • Amalfi Coast
  • Main
  • Mosel
  • Neckar
  • Passau – Vienna

What are our most beautiful cycle moments with Eurobike?
Most impressive was the Amalfi Coast (perhaps because we spent our adolescence in this spirit of optimism after the war, i.e. with Capri – sunset in the red sea, vespa, etc.)

What do we appreciate on a holiday with Eurobike?
We appreciate everything, since every time it is and was an experience!

Which Eurobike cycle holidays would we still like to embark on?
We do not plan into the future. We are both over 80 years old and fortunate enough to still go on adventures.

Josef Angst from Vienna

How often have I been on holiday with Eurobike and where did I go?
I can only estimate the number of times I have been on holiday with Eurobike, maybe 40 times, of which most tours were taking place in Austria (Danube-, Mur-Cycle Path, Carinthia, Southern Styria, Salzburg Lakes and many more), however also in Germany (Bad Tölz, Rosenheim several times) as well as Slovakia and Hungary.

What do I appreciate on a holiday with Eurobike?
Without any exceptions all holidays were perfectly organised, the cycle paths were selected carefully and signposted well, the luggage transfer worked perfectly and the choice of hotels was always great. All that I have appreciated especially since that one can fully focus on cycling in beautiful surroundings.

Which Eurobike cycle holidays would I still like to embark on?
Provided my physical condition and fitness level allows, I would like to enjoy further Eurobike cycle holidays. Hence I have enjoyed already a cycle tour along the Danube cycle path this year.

What would I like to add:
As part of Eurobike’s beautiful anniversary I want to wish you lots of success for the future and thank you for the amazing cycle holidays!

Schmidt Family from Graz

How often have we been on holiday with Eurobike and where did we go?
To answer this question please refer to the photo of our map of Europe. This pin-board is displayed in our flat and gets updated after every holiday and offers a wonderful opportunity for memories and travelogues – I am sure we have attracted and inspired a few new clients with it!

What do we appreciate on a holiday with Eurobike?
We enjoy the perfect organisation and preparation and yet each time we experience a unique holiday. The combination of movement in the fresh air and plenty of time for sights or a picnic en route is what makes the holidays so appealing to us.

Which Eurobike cycle holidays would we still like to embark on?
At the beginning of May we returned from our Tuscany Loop Tour, however since our map still shows many ‘white spots’, we are busy searching for our next destination.
