At the conclusion of your initial cycling stage, a highlight awaits: Drottningholm Palace, surrounded by stunning parks and a serene lake, is truly a sight to behold. From there, you'll take a train to Gothenburg, where ample time awaits to explore this charming city.

The route leads you via Kungsbacka to Varberg, often tracing the coastline and passing through quaint fishing villages and harbors. From Falkenberg, you'll take the train to Helsingborg, and the next day, you'll board the ferry to Helsingør—"Velkommen" in Denmark! Visitors can tour the castle, wander through the splendid gardens, and even attend performances in the historic theater.
  • Between the beach and Varberg fortress: Situated on the Swedish west coast, the charming old town draws visitors with its picturesque harbor and stunning sandy beaches. Explore the imposing fortress, unwind in the seaside public baths, and savor local specialties at the cozy restaurants along the coastline.
  • Blending contemporary and the traditional in the Danish capital: Copenhagen captivates with its historic architecture, trendy neighborhoods, and vibrant cultural scene. Explore the iconic Nyhavn, wander through the fascinating old town, and browse modern design shops. Indulge in Nordic cuisine and unwind in the city's lush green parks.

As well as stunning scenery, Northern Europe has excellent infrastructure and first-class cycling routes. The stages between Stockholm and Copenhagen are complemented by train and ferry connections, making it easy to negotiate the rolling hills.
