Itinerary at a glance

Portocolom, with its picturesque natural harbor, is the ideal starting point for bike tours in eastern Mallorca. The Mondragó Natural Park, historic towns, hidden coves, and the famous Dragon Caves ensure a varied vacation experience.

Take a stroll through the charming town centre enjoying its nice cafes and restaurants.

Today’s stage starts by leading you into the agricultural hinterland. Small fincas built with the typical red stone walls accompany you to Mondragó bay. Turquoise sea and the finest of sandy beaches tempt you to take a longer break. On your way back to your accommodation, you will cycle past the chic bays of Portopetro und Cala D'Or.

In the morning, our transfer will take you to the impressive town of Artà. After a stroll through the town you will take the bike path to Manacor via Son Carrió and Sant Llorenc, both very characteristically Majorcan villages, which are known for their artistic pearls. You will cycle to Portocolom on small and quiet roads going past vines as well as orange and olive trees.

The Queen stage of this tour takes you via the bay in Cala Marcal to dreamy Felanitx. To get there though, you need to battle the hills. Your hard work will be rewarded with a spectacular view of the island from Santueri castle. Particularly ambitious cyclists can even ride up the mountain, Puig de Sant Salvador. Enjoy the scenery on the way back to your hotel with plenty of giant cacti, peach trees and pine forests.

You will cycle past typical coastal vegetation on your way to Porto Cristo. It’s worth taking a break at the small harbour and the sandy beach. You can also visit the world-famous dragon caves. On your way back to Portocolom, you will cycle through lush green meadows, go past stately fincas and grazing flocks of sheep.

Today, the fertile countryside will inspire you once again. The wheat shimmers golden in the sun, the flowers bloom vibrantly and the fields are full of crunchy vegetables. The beautiful village of Ses Salines is a great place for a break before reaching the true cultural highlight, Santanyi.
