Reaching the Finish Line Together

On June 20, 2026, the Eurofun team geared up once again for a true highlight on our sports calendar: the Grabenseelauf in Perwang am Grabensee. Under the blazing summer sun, our colleagues took on the challenge with infectious team spirit and plenty of motivation. Curious how the teams performed, why team tattoos turned into an extra boost, and what made this year’s run truly special? Dive into the story to find out!

The starting signal for the Eurofun-Team

Bathed in brilliant sunshine and basking in the summer heat, several Eurofun teams took to the starting line once more. With unstoppable enthusiasm, clever team names, and plenty of motivation, they tackled the course around Lake Grabensee.

The team event was a clear favorite, where it wasn't just about times and rankings, but about camaraderie, support, and that unmistakable joy of sharing a running adventure together.

Team members in turquoise shirts gathered under a green Eurohike tent at an outdoor sports event, sitting and standing on grass under blue sky.

Pure energy and creative team names

Our five teams weren’t just fast on their feet—they also brought a burst of creativity to naming their squads. Whether it was an all-women’s, all-men’s, or mixed group, you could feel the excitement of being part of something bigger every step of the way.

Here’s a look at our line-up:

ABRacadabra: Anna Ertl, Barbara Schwab, Ramona Altenberger

Hikeaholics: Reimar Winterberger, David Wege, Luca Winter

Steven Koob & the Abbrunzati: Nico Warren, Joscha Koob, Manuel Huber

Running sushi: Nicole Maderegger, Manuel Gangl, Christine Pöltzleitner

#aktivmitlaufundsohle: Michael Kröll, Julia Preinerstorfer, Andreas Schintlmeister

Hannes, Bettina, and Andrea from our Finance Team also joined in, tackling the walking course with plenty of energy.

What truly lit a fire under us were the cheering locals lining the route. The absolute highlight? Those who redirected their lawn sprinklers onto the road, giving us a refreshing burst of cool air just when we needed it most. And for a little extra motivation, we designed a team tattoo and wore it proudly on our upper arms.

Right from the start, our “Aktiv mit Lauf & Sohle” team was buzzing with motivation. We’re not just a great match at work—when it comes to events like this, we’re all in, pulling together every step of the way. The run itself was no walk in the park: short, but with those soaring temperatures, it was a real test of endurance. Every step was a challenge, but we kept spurring each other on.

On the podium once again this year

Our teams’ performances were truly something to celebrate. Just like last year, both a men’s team and a mixed team made it onto the podium:

Hikeaholics: 3rd place among the men, with a team time of 0:58:34.0

Running sushi: 3rd place in the mixed category, with a team time of 1:13:06.3

A shared goal brings people together—much like our team spirit at work. There, too, we join forces to make the best active vacations across Europe a reality. For everyone who joined the Grabenseelauf, the day was an outstanding experience, crowned by that refreshing leap into the cool lake at the finish line.

Congratulations to all teams on their fantastic achievements!

The Grabenseelauf is always a highlight on our company calendar, and this year was no exception—we were all looking forward to race day. The heat was especially tough on us this time. But that shared encouragement throughout the run pushed us all the way to third place. With conditions so challenging, this success felt even sweeter!
