Do you have questions about this tour?

Sparkling sea, serene coves, and idyllic beaches: the island realm of northern Dalmatia is truly a destination worth experiencing! With Eurobike, you can discover this stunning region of Croatia by combining biking and boating. It's a fantastic way to explore, as you pedal through scenic nature parks while the MS Aria transports you to captivating coastal areas and charming harbor towns. This eight-day adventure begins in lively Zadar, and along the journey, you'll also trace the footsteps of Winnetou.

The first day of the tour is already full of experiences when you cycle over the Ždrelac bridge to the island of Pašman after embarking in Zadar and crossing over to the island of Ugljan. Get to know the island of Murter by bike and follow the route along the coast to Vodice. A special natural attraction awaits you in the Krka Waterfalls National Park - incidentally a filming location for the Winnetou films. Your floating hotel will take you from Skradin to Šibenik, a picturesque harbor town.

On Day 4, you'll set out on a short journey to the fortress of Sveti Nikola before unwinding and taking pleasure in the boat excursion through the breathtaking islands of Kornati National Park. You'll pass by bays and fishing villages on the island of Dugi Otok before reboarding the ship in Božava the following day. Once again, you'll cruise through picturesque bathing coves until you reach the island of Molat. On the final day of your vacation, you'll enjoy a short bike ride and ample time for swimming. In the afternoon, the ship will return to Zadar.

  • Romantic sunsets over picturesque bays: The very first evening is a true highlight, as the sun sets over the bay of Podvrške, painting the sky and sea in a beautiful array of colors. Make sure to fully relish the sunrises and sunsets throughout this tour.
  • The magical flair of the Krka waterfalls: A breathtaking natural wonder! Take a dip in the crystal-clear pools beneath the waterfalls and visit the nearby Visovac Monastery for a serene spiritual experience. The Krka Waterfalls provided the backdrop for scenes in the Winnetou films, which were filmed in the 1960s and adapted from the novels by German author Karl May.
  • The old town of Zadar: Ancient history meets modern charm - in Zadar you can explore the historic center with its Roman ruins and medieval churches on a guided tour. The lively town is also bursting with bars and cafés. You can also enjoy breathtaking sunsets here, especially at the Sea organ!

On the MS Dalmatino, you'll cruise from island to island, with the sun deck offering an inviting spot to unwind. While the stages are relatively short, there may be one or two climbs to conquer. Onboard, you'll be treated to half board meals, and you'll also have the opportunity to savor delectable Mediterranean cuisine at portside restaurants. The travel package includes various experiences such as a city tour in Zadar, admission to nature parks, and access to the Krka waterfalls.

Mediterranean flair and swimming by the sea meets activity and experiences in coastal regions, nature parks and on islands - welcome to our tours by bike & boat in Southern Europe.

Itinerary at a glance

Embarkation between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in Zadar. The tour guide will welcome you with a welcome drink and lunch on board. After arriving in the fishing village of Molat, we will cycle from the pier to the village of Zapuntel and back to Molat. Then we will set sail again and head for the island of Zverinac. Dinner on board and overnight stay in Zverinac.

After breakfast, we weigh anchor and set sail for Božava on the island of Dugi Otok. The island's name, meaning “long island,” is no coincidence — with a length of around 44 km, it is often only a few hundred meters wide. We load the bikes from the deck and set off for the Veli Rat lighthouse, which marks the northwestern end of the island. We then continue on to Savar, where we have lunch on board. After the break, we cycle through typical Dalmatian villages, pine forests, and olive groves to Sali. We spend the night in this charming fishing village, known for its small harbor and authentic atmosphere. There is an opportunity to have dinner in one of the restaurants.

After breakfast, we cycle from Sali to Telašćica Nature Park, an 8 km deep bay in the south of the island. Here we take a bike tour past lush Mediterranean vegetation to the saltwater lake and the steep cliffs, which are up to 161 m high and offer a breathtaking view of the sea. After returning to Sali, we set sail again and enjoy lunch on board. We head south and reach Šibenik in the early evening. This is followed by a guided tour of the picturesque old town, after which there is the option of dining in one of the restaurants.

After breakfast, we drive up the Krka River and dock in Skradin, just before the Krka waterfalls. We cycle to the famous national park and to “Skradinski Buk,” which, at 800 m, is the longest and probably best-known part of the waterfalls. An impressive natural spectacle, as here the Krka falls in 17 stages with cascades up to 100 m wide. After spending some time in the area of the waterfalls, we cycle back to Skradin to have lunch on board. In the afternoon, there is time for a stroll through the picturesque town with its waterfront promenade, small cafés, and view of the fortress. In the evening, there is the opportunity to dine at one of the restaurants in Skradin.

After breakfast, we hop back on our bikes and leave the idyllic Skradin behind us, heading for the coast. The approximately 35-kilometer stage leads through the green hinterland of northern Dalmatia, past vineyards and small villages. Along the way, we enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding hills and the sea in the distance. Along the way, we enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding hills and the sea in the distance. In Vodice, we board the boat again and enjoy lunch. The afternoon is free for you to spend as you wish – perhaps for a swim or a stroll along the lively promenade. Dinner is on your own, overnight stay in Vodice.

After breakfast, we set off on today's bike tour. The approximately 30-kilometer route takes us from Vodice to the island of Murter, which is connected to the mainland by a bridge. Our destination is the famous Slanica Beach—one of the most beautiful bathing bays in the region with fine sand and shallow water. After lunch on board, there is time for swimming or walking before we end the day with a cozy Captain's Dinner on board. Overnight stay in Slanica or – depending on circumstances – in the port of Tkon on the island of Pašman.

After breakfast, we set off on the last bike tour of this trip. From Tkon on the island of Pašman, we cross the narrow dam to the neighboring island of Ugljan. In Preko, the main town of Ugljan, we board the ship again and enjoy our last lunch on board. In the afternoon, we reach Zadar. The city is a wonderful example of the Mediterranean flair of northern Dalmatia – a harmonious blend of history, culture, and a relaxed lifestyle. After a guided city tour through the diverse old town with its Roman ruins, Venetian alleys, and modern sights such as the Sea Organ, taverns and restaurants invite you to linger. Overnight stay on board in the port of Zadar.

Disembarkation takes place after breakfast until 09:00. Afterwards you start your individual journey home.
