This 4-day cycling round trip explores Bavaria's stunning lake region, starting from Lake Starnberg. The medium-difficulty route covers approximately 110 km through traditional Bavarian villages, passing Lake Staffelsee, Lake Kochel, and the Osterseen lakes. Highlights include views of the Wetterstein Mountains and Zugspitze, historic Bad Tölz with its richly decorated townhouses, and Benediktbeuern. The tour follows scenic bike paths and peaceful side roads, mostly paved with some well-maintained natural surfaces.
