Stroll through the arcades of Merano before hopping on your bike and heading toward Lake Garda. Follow well-maintained bike paths alongside Lake Ledro and Lake Idro on your way to Verona. Take a leisurely walk around the Arena di Verona and visit Juliet’s balcony, then the final two stages lie ahead. In Vicenza, the Venetian architecture immediately catches the eye—and on the last few kilometers, a special reward awaits: the unique scent of the sea breeze drifting in!
On wonderful cycle paths to Lake Garda. From Lake Garda, you cycle on cycle paths and low-traffic side roads. Expect more traffic when entering and leaving the city. There are several short climbs and a longer, steep climb to Lake Ledro, some of which are in poor condition. Two further longer climbs on the stage to Vicenza.

Over six stages, you’ll cover around 490 kilometers (approximately 305 miles)—so a good level of fitness is essential. Expect some climbs along the way, with the most challenging ones to Lake Ledro and before Vicenza. Be prepared for increased traffic when entering and leaving towns.
