Charming nature and historical cities: Enjoy the atmosphere in Harderwijk, admire Van Gogh artworks, and visit Het Loo Palace near Apeldoorn. In between, you'll cycle through the Ermelo Heath and the Hoge Veluwe National Park.

Individual arrival to Garderen. Enjoy the beautiful location in the middle of the forests of the Veluwe region.

Today you reach the Hanseatic city of Harderwijk, which with its many historic buildings lies charmingly on the coast of Lake Veluwe. If you feel like a swim, use the beautiful beach for a relaxing stay. The way back leads you through the Ermeloer Heide with its wide and charming landscape.

You cycle through the forest and heath of the western Veluwe into the open, more urban landscape near Amersfoort. Amersfoort has a well-preserved medieval town centre, numerous historic buildings and monuments, canals and cosy restaurants and cafés. Passing the Stoutenburg, your way leads back to the hotel. From Amersfoort you can take the train.

Nature and art form a charming mixture in the Hoge Veluwe National Park. The forests, moor lakes and heathland are home to many protected animals and plants. The visitor centre reveals a lot about the history, culture and nature of the park. A place of art is the Kröller-Müller-Museum, which among other things has the second largest Van Gogh collection in the world and a very beautiful sculpture garden.

Today you can first admire the gardens of Het Loo Castle, one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe. You will then reach Apeldoorn. The city offers you a lively mix of historic buildings such as the Grote Kerk, art sites such as the Museum of Modern Art called CODA, restaurants, shops and natural areas such as the Apenheul Zoo, home to many monkeys. 6.
