Embark on a stunning cycling tour that connects two of Southern Europe's most beautiful cities, Porto and Lisbon. Discover remarkable cultural sites as you ride through lush nature and along scenic coastal routes. The journey begins in Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage city. Savor a glass of port wine and other Portuguese delights before starting your grand adventure. Explore Portugal's Venice in Aveiro, the vibrant coastal city of Figueira da Foz, the awe-inspiring waves of Nazaré, the mystical town of Sintra, and much more. Filled with impressions, you'll arrive in the Portuguese capital, with its impressive old town and numerous attractions.

Whether in Madeira, the Algarve, or the heart of the country, a cycling tour in Portugal always impresses with its stunning landscapes, mild climate, countless attractions, and the warm hospitality of the Portuguese people. Our team is happy to assist you in choosing from the various travel options.

First, settle into Porto and unwind from your journey with a stroll along the Douro River. As you head toward the coast, you'll pass the iconic Port wine cellars and later the charming fishing village of Furadouro. Costa Nova and Praia da Mira are on the route to Figueira da Foz.

On Day 4, you’ll start by cycling through the countryside, surrounded by vast fields and peaceful forests, before reaching the coast, where you'll ride through scenic dune landscapes. The next day, vineyards and orchards will guide you to Peniche, where it's well worth exploring the castle in Óbidos. From Peniche to Sintra, a special highlight awaits as you ride along the breathtaking cliffs. During the final stretch, take a stroll along the promenade in Cascais before following the Rio Tejo, which will lead you to the heart of Lisbon.

  • Gazing out at the lighthouse and the sea from Cabo Mondego: Cabo Mondego is renowned for its breathtaking cliffs, picturesque views of the Atlantic, and natural beauty. Here, the sea meets the majestic cliffs, creating a dramatic backdrop. The white lighthouse with its red roof blends beautifully into the scene. Don’t forget to snap a memorable photo!
  • Succumb to the charm of Lisbon: Nestled along the banks of the Tagus River, Lisbon offers a unique blend of old traditions and contemporary life. The city enchants with its narrow streets adorned with colorful tiles. Iconic landmarks such as the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery are UNESCO World Heritage sites that everyone knows. Be sure to hop on one of the traditional trams for an authentic experience!
  • Aveiro, often called the “Venice of Portugal,” is a charming city on the west coast of Portugal, known for its canals and colorful “Moliceiros” boats. Originally used for harvesting seaweed in the surrounding lagoons, these boats are now a popular attraction for a scenic ride through the city. Aveiro is also renowned for its stunning Art Nouveau architecture and its distinctive, vibrant houses.

As you make your way to the Portuguese capital, you'll be treated to a stunning mix of golden sandy beaches, dramatic cliffs, and charming coves—so don’t forget your swimwear! The route promises an exhilarating ride with mostly gentle hills and a few thrilling climbs, covering between 45 and 105 kilometers each day.
