Itinerary at a glance

Watch the bustling life in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Copenhagen while trying typical local dishes. The castles of Drottningholm and Sturehov are impressive, as are the Varberg fortress and the charming fishing villages.

Take a first stroll through Sweden’s capital and explore some of the many sights and tourist attractions.

Cycle along Lake Mälaren, Sweden's third largest lake, to the island of Lovön, where the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Drottningholm Palace awaits you. Take your time to admire the charming building with its beautiful lakeside location and visit the exotic, small "China Castle", the castle theatre and the wonderful castle park. Cycle over bridges and along the water to Södermalm. The former working-class neighbourhood is now inhabited by hipsters and designers. On this stage, you will also pass the old town of Gamla Stan with its cobbled alleyways, crooked houses and inviting cafés.

By train and with your luggage you travel to Gothenburg after breakfast. In the afternoon there is enough time for sightseeing in the city. Discover Sweden's second largest city on a boat tour from the water, visit the harbour with its walk-in historic ships, the Maritiman adventure museum is also worth a visit. Savour a cinnamon bun in the popular district of Hage and stroll along the boulevard Kungsportsavenyn. Garden lovers can visit the Trädgårdsföreningen park and art lovers the Gothenburg Art Museum.

While cycling out of town you pass Särö, the former playground of the ancient royal family and Gothenburg high society. Cliffs, lush forests, bays and marinas line your path. In the late afternoon you reach Kungsbacka, a cozy small town with impressing old city

Enjoy the breathtaking vies on today’s route along horse farms and fields. Once you reach Åsa the sea is accompanying you again and leading you to Varberg. Visit the fortress with its Bockstensmann, a medieval man’s body found from the 14th century (not included).

Look forward to picturesque fishing villages and handicraft. In Träslövsläge you can feast on freshly cooked lobsters and stroll through the older parts of the city. You continue to Falkenberg, one of the oldest cities in the area. Afterwards you go by train (not included) within 90 minutes to Helsingborg where you stay overnight.

After breakfast the ferry (not included) brings you in just 20 minutes to Helsingør which means you have reached Danish territory. Take your time to stroll through the picturesque harbour city and visit palace Kronoberg before you continue along beautiful sandy beaches, wonderful landscapes and magnificent smelling forests to pulsating capital city of Denmark.

After breakfast your tour ends in Copenhagen. We are happy to extend your holidays with extra nights.
