Saarbrücken – Coblenz

Stroll through Saarbrücken and feel the French flair. The changing affiliation of the city has left its tracks everywhere, as well in the cuisine. For the inhabitants it is common to eat snails or pate and to drink Pastis as aperitive. St. Johanner market with its pubs, bistros and restaurants is the heart of life here. Today you explore Enkirch, a jewel of half-timbered architecture and Zell, a wine village. You should plan a stopover in Beilstein, which is also named “Rothenburg on river Moselle”. Be pleased about Cochem with its picturesque centre and the old fortress from 11th century.
