This family-friendly cycling loop tour explores ten pristine lakes in Austria's Salzburger Seenland region. Starting and ending in Salzburg, the route follows well-maintained cycle paths along the Salzach River and through nature reserves, passing Holzöster, Trumer Lakes, and Mondsee. Daily stages range from 30-45 km over flat to hilly terrain. Highlights include swimming in warm moorland lakes, entrance to Trumer Lakes lidos, Wanderbauerngolf in Franking, and optional high rope course adventures in Seeham.

You cycle along the river Salzach and through numerous nature reserves, past countless lakes with options for a swim. . You cycle always on well-maintained cycle paths.
The cycling stages are between 30 and 45 km long, the topography ranges from flat along the Salzach to hilly between the Innviertel lakes and Mondsee or Salzburg. We recommend that children have a good basic level of fitness and good cycling skills (including safety in traffic).
