The Warmest Travel Feedback of the Season

Today, we let our guests do the talking
Your smartphone as a digital travel guide

In the midst of an exciting and sometimes hectic season, it’s often the little things that touch us most — a heartfelt thank-you, an honest compliment, or a kind message. Over the past few weeks, we’ve received just that from our guests. Their words not only brought smiles to our faces but also reminded us why we love what we do.

Today, we’d like to share some of these special messages with you — as a small token of our gratitude and a heartfelt reminder of how meaningful genuine appreciation can be.

France

Cycling through the fairy-tale region Loire Valley

We begin our cycling journey in France — more precisely, along the Loire, a region celebrated for its rich cultural heritage. Since 2000, the Loire Valley has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to over 300 castles. Its fertile soil and the beautifully designed palace gardens have earned it the name “The Garden of France.”

In this fairy-tale region, our guest Bettina set out to explore the castles of the Loire. Here’s what she shared with us:

“A heartfelt thank-you for the flawless organization of this unforgettable ‘Loire à Vélo’ vacation! Everything worked perfectly — from the luggage transfer to the hotels, which were all wonderful. The bikes were in excellent condition, and the handover by the local representative was incredibly friendly and helpful. The route was perfectly chosen — not too demanding, wonderfully varied, taking us through forests, fields, vineyards, along romantic rivers, and through charming villages that invite you to stop for a break. The castles and their gardens were absolutely breathtaking! So many wonderful impressions to take home and relive later. An unforgettable experience! And the weather couldn’t have been better — not too hot, ideal for cycling, and we stayed dry the whole time! PS: We also met some lovely fellow travelers who had booked with Eurobike as well. Thank you! We’d love to travel with Eurobike again!”

Cycling around Bavaria's most beautiful lakes

You don’t have to travel far for a dream cycling tour. Bavaria offers numerous routes that allow you to fully immerse yourself in the local way of life while enjoying its idyllic landscapes. Karin chose the route from Lake Chiemsee to Lake Königssee. At the “Bavarian Sea,” Lake Chiemsee, there is plenty to discover — above all, the New Herrenchiemsee Palace on the island of the same name, built by King Ludwig II. From there, the route winds through the Alpine foothills to Lake Königssee, offering spectacular views of the Watzmann Massif.

"Everything went perfectly, and we were completely satisfied. Even the occasional rain was part of the experience, making the rewards all the sweeter. When it rained at Lake Chiemsee, we skipped the planned cycling tour and took the boat instead. The next day, we enjoyed the tour around the lake in beautiful weather. The hotels were excellent — in one, we even had a suite. Breakfasts were delicious, and the views and routes were stunning. All in all, a truly memorable experience."

Experience the Danube

The Alpine Republic has so much to offer. In addition to sporty challenges like crossing the Alps, there are also wonderful cycling routes along rivers and lakes. Our guest Tomasz chose just such a cycling tour in Austria for his active getaway. He opted for a lesser-known variant of the Danube Cycle Path, starting in the city of Mozart — Salzburg — and following the Inn Cycle Path to the three-river city of Passau, before continuing along the Danube to the capital, Vienna. An unforgettable experience — but let’s hear it in his own words:

“We recently completed the Eurobike Salzburg to Vienna cycling tour and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The route itself was stunning, especially the first section to Passau. The cycle paths were excellent, often taking us through fields and forests. Overall, the tour was fairly easy and suitable for everyone (we used regular bicycles), with only a few slightly more challenging climbs (literally only 2–3). All the hotels were located in charming towns along the route with each offering its own attractions. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, and the service was excellent everywhere we stayed. The travel guide provided by Eurobike was very detailed, explaining what we would encounter along the route and suggesting interesting places to visit. We didn’t use the official Eurobike app but instead relied on the GPX files they supplied, which we uploaded to our navigation devices – and they worked perfectly. The luggage transfer was flawlessly organized: our bags were picked up on time every day and waiting for us at the next hotel. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We highly recommend Eurobike to anyone looking for a well-organized, beautiful, and stress-free cycling adventure in Austria.”

Italy

Italy is one of our guests’ favorite destinations, and it shows in the travel feedback we receive. This season, we’ve selected two outstanding cycling tours in Italy that especially delighted our guests.

South Tyrol at its best

The Adige Cycle Path is one of the most spectacular routes in the Alps. It takes you from the high-alpine landscapes around Lake Resia — with a view of the famous sunken church tower of Graun — down through the sun-drenched Vinschgau Valley, past orchards, castles, and picturesque villages, all the way to the Mediterranean-influenced regions around Merano, Bolzano, and finally Lake Garda. Carola was just as thrilled by the experience:

“We really enjoyed this cycling tour. The landscapes were stunning, and the hotels were lovely. It was wonderful to cool off in the pool after a day of cycling. We also appreciated the alternative routes offered to avoid riding too close to the highway. We felt very well looked after and will definitely take another tour like this in the future.”

Through Piedmont with charm

Further south, Richard explored the enchanting Piedmont with Charm Tour - based in one hotel. The Canavese region in the northeast of Piedmont is a fantastic area rich in nature, history, culture, and culinary delights. Each day, cyclists set out from their accommodation to discover the surrounding countryside. Highlights include the Serre d’Ivrea, an impressive moraine landscape shaped by glaciers, or a stage to Lake Candia with a refreshing swim afterward. And, of course, a visit to Turin is a must.

“The tour in Piedmont was wonderful, and the beautiful weather certainly added to the experience. The accommodation was excellent, the bikes perfectly prepared, and the tour descriptions left nothing to be desired. This tour was easily manageable on regular bicycles without electric assistance.”

Explore Majorca at a sporty pace

Our new sporty cycling tour on Majorca has quickly become a favorite. On this tour, you cycle almost all the way around the island, uncovering hidden corners and lesser-known landscapes along the way. In addition to the capital, Palma, you’ll ride through charming Majorcan villages, discover pristine beaches, and take in breathtaking views of the Tramuntana Mountains. A journey full of unforgettable moments — as our guest Walter experienced:

"This Majorca loop was absolutely wonderful. From the organization and hotels to the route, navigation, and even the weather that week — everything was perfect. Nothing was overpromised. We were completely delighted and can highly recommend this sporty tour! Greetings to the friendly Edith from Hellmonsödt."
