cheesy love stories and exciting travel guides.

My perfect day ...

starts early in the morning on the mountain. After the summer mountain tour, we paddle out on the Mattsee with the stand-up paddle board and enjoy the sunset on the lake. In winter, a hot bath, relaxing music and a good book await me after a ski tour.

Travelling and other countries ...

mean freedom for me. When I travel, I feel free, I can completely switch off and enjoy the here and now. I love to immerse myself in new cultures and get to know the traditions and people better.

My favourite travel destinations ...

are the European capitals - Paris, London, Lisbon, Budapest, Prague, Stockholm ... . But above all I love Iceland because I made a semester abroad there and feel at home there. Outside of Europe, I like to travel to America and Asia.

My most recent trips ...

were a beach holiday in Sardinia, a ski touring holiday in Norway, a New Year's Eve trip to Stockholm and a road trip along the Algarve.

Happiness and contentment for me means ...

inner peace and enjoying life.

A culinary cycling holiday through Tuscany

Grabensee run 2022 – We were back at the starting line!
Last weekend we left our bikes at home and exchanged our hiking shoes for running shoes – since the popular Lake Grabensee Run in Perwang was on the program again. Since we use this great event every year as a sporting team event, Eurofun again entered three highly motivated teams at the mixed and women’s start this year – the Eurohike Snails, the Eurohike Rockets and the Eurobike Bunnies. The team competition covers a distance of 4.2 kilometres with three runners each. The individual times are added at the end. The Eurofun Company Headquarters in the Course of Time
Work, where others go on holidays to – Our Eurofun headquarters are nestled between forests, lush green meadows and Lake Obertrumer See. Here in the idyllic foothills of the Alps only about 20 kilometres from the Baroque city of Salzburg, we plan, organise and market our Eurobike cycle holidays and Eurohike hiking holidays for you. We have been at home in Obertrum, Austria, for more than two decades. Just as our tours have developed over time, our team has grown steadily, our company headquarters have also changed and adapted to the increasing demands.   In celebration of our 30th Eurobike anniversary, we will take you on a virtual tour through our company building and tell you how a farm became a modern workplace for over 50 employees.

Eurofun Winter Sports Day 2022
At the beginning of March it was time again and our annual Eurofun winter sports day was just around the corner. Now that we had to do without our trip for two years due to Corona, the anticipation was already very high. Since it needed to be a ‚winter sports day‘ and not just a day of skiing, we took off in two fully occupied buses to Strobl, destination „Postalm“, situated in the beautiful Salzkammergut region, where a wide variety of winter sport activities are on offer. Whether it is skiing, hiking, tobogganing or embarking on a ski tour, all of our sporty employees really get their money’s worth and can choose according to their taste. We also wanted to take the opportunity to visit the Postalm-alp in winter. In summer it is well known to us and our guests as a cozy place to stay overnight in a hut during our alpine hiking tour in the Salzkammergut region.

Five delicious Christmas biscuit recipes from Austria
What can't be missing in the wonderful Advent season? That's right: lots of delicious biscuits. And the supply should ideally last until Christmas. But that's often difficult - at least it is for me. But who can resist the delicious ‘Vanillekipferl’ (vanilla biscuits), ‘Zimtsternen’ (cinnamon stars) or ‘Zwickerbusserl’(apricot jam sandwiched between biscuit and topped with meringue)? Unfortunately not me, and that's why my personal Christmas bakery opens several times during the pre-Christmas season. Whether you bake alone, with the family or with friends: it is totally relaxing and puts even the last Advent Grinch in a pre-Christmas mood.

Eurobike company trip 2021
Normally, we at Eurobike miss very few opportunities for a cosy get-together. Unfortunately, our company outing in 2020 had to be cancelled due to corona. So this year we were definitely looking forward to a short holiday together. And since we had to wait so long for it, it was extended by a second night. A wonderful cycle tour, an impressive hike, fun evenings with intense conversations and of course lots of delicious food rounded off the trip perfectly. Winterising your bike properly
With a heavy heart, sooner or later the day will come when the cycling season comes to an end. Temperatures drop, precipitation accumulates and the first snow falls. Not good conditions for a cycle tour. This means your beloved bike should now be winterised. However, before you send your bike into hibernation, you should give it some care. On the one hand, this promotes longevity, and on the other hand, there is nothing better than having your bike ready to go again for the start of the season in spring.

Grabensee Run 2021 - We were there
We had to wait a long time for our first joint sporting team activity after Corona, but last Saturday it finally happened again. At the eighth Grabensee Run in Perwang, we were all able to lace up our running shoes once again and run for a good cause. We travelled to the team event full of motivation and energy. You can find out what results we were able to achieve and how the entire event went in this blog post. Small spoiler in advance, we are very satisfied with all our efforts and grateful for participating in such a successful event.

Time does not stand still, and we are in a constant state of flux. We are getting further away from the analogue world and moving closer and closer to digitisation. Eurobike is also relying more and more on digital data and apps. We provide you with free GPS data in order to simplify your travel and enable uncomplicated travel from A to B.
